Maintenance Technician – Avana Northlake

About the role
The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role is based in Germantown, Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance across the property to keep systems operating efficiently.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
Required profile
- Ability to perform technical and mechanical tasks in a residential property environment.
- Commitment to follow established safety procedures and regulatory codes.
- Strong attention to detail for inspections and maintenance documentation.
