Maintenance Technician – Altana Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Altana residential community in Glendale. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and repairing according to company policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Availability to work weekends and be on‑call as needed.
• Ability to follow safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
