Maintenance Supervisor – Townhome Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the interior and exterior of the townhome community, its grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the community’s grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks and related documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential property setting.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate work of service team members and external vendors.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s operational policies.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and make‑ready scheduling.
