Maintenance Supervisor – Thornton, CO

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of its community properties in Thornton, CO. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and maintenance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and specification standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facility maintenance, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, manage inventory, and control expenses.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
