Maintenance Supervisor – The Harrison Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of The Harrison community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and the make‑ready process for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant apartments: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule contractors, procure supplies and verify completed work.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while staying within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in Greystar’s policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with budgeting, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multifamily or residential settings.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors and external service providers.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and Greystar’s operational standards.
