Maintenance Supervisor – Property Management

About the role

CYM Living is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across its residential portfolio. The role is responsible for ensuring properties are safe, well‑maintained, and compliant with all regulations while delivering high‑quality service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities and coordinate repairs for assigned properties.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify needs and verify safety compliance.
• Lead, train and mentor a team of technicians, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Develop and execute preventative‑maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses and ensure projects stay within limits.
• Maintain accurate work‑order records, repair logs and generate reports for management.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, including after‑hours, weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with property‑management and leasing teams to address tenant concerns and improve resident satisfaction.
• Monitor local, state and federal regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Oversee ordering of supplies and inventory management.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑starter with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Prior experience in facilities or property maintenance.
• Willingness to provide on‑call coverage for emergencies.
• Ability to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
