Maintenance Supervisor – Mira Flores

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of staff, vendors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong supervisory skills to manage internal staff, vendors and contractors.
• Attention to detail for developing and enforcing cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Organizational ability to manage work orders, inventory and budgeting requirements.
