Maintenance Supervisor & Level 2 Technician – Rochester, MN

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor and a Level 2 Maintenance Technician to support Oak Terrace and Parkside Mobile Home Parks in Rochester, MN. The Supervisor will lead a team while performing hands‑on work, and the Technician will execute a wide range of property‑maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a crew of maintenance technicians (Supervisor role)
• Perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs across homes
• Maintain vendor relationships and manage the maintenance budget
• Oversee curb‑appeal standards, including trash pickup and groundskeeping
• Read water meters, complete work orders efficiently, and conduct home clean‑outs
• Participate in online training and continuous skill development

Required profile

• Qualified for a Maintenance Supervisor or Level 2 Maintenance Technician position
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and hands‑on technical aptitude
• Experience working in residential or mobile‑home park environments
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards

Required skills

• Plumbing (faucet/toilet repair, sewer cleanout auger operation, water‑leak diagnosis)
• Electrical (light fixtures, GFCI installation, breaker and fuse replacement, outlet and switch replacement)
• Carpentry (building stairs/ramps, framing doors/windows, installing landscaping timbers)
• Residential repairs (flooring, siding, drywall, painting, door/window installation)
• Groundskeeping (lawn mowing, planting, weeding)
• Water‑meter reading
