Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Summit Property Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of multi‑family properties in the North Dallas area. You will lead a team of technicians, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure all units are ready for new tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Repair building exterior, grounds, mechanical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Develop and maintain schedules for routine maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, painting, and turnover work.
• Implement a preventive maintenance program and supervise all contract work.
• Ensure vacated apartments are in “make ready” condition for showing and renting.
• Serve as on‑call emergency maintenance contact during nights and weekends.
• Manage property tools, furniture, and accessories inventory.
• Operate within budget and report any variations to the Community Manager.

Required profile

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a multi‑family environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college or trade school education preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMT, boiler license, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, or first aid are a plus.
• Physical ability to perform standing, bending, lifting, and climbing tasks.

• Experience with RealPage or Sight Plan software.
