Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Greenville, Ohio site. The role ensures safe, timely, and effective maintenance of 24/7 production assets, supporting BASF’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 8 hourly maintenance and instrumentation & electrical personnel.
• Execute daily maintenance tasks and contribute to long‑term maintenance strategies.
• Monitor performance against maintenance goals and KPIs, coaching the team to meet targets.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance safety, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Provide troubleshooting support for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and other process equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors from other departments to ensure a customer‑focused, 24/7 production environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a mature maintenance organization, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
• Solid knowledge of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and basic instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Effective communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
