About the role

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor III to lead the maintenance team at the Terrell Unit Cannery Plant located in Rosharon, Texas. This position is responsible for overseeing the upkeep of the canning facility’s equipment and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Direct and coordinate daily maintenance activities within the canning plant.
Ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Maintain records of maintenance work and compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

Experience in supervising maintenance operations, preferably in an industrial or food‑processing environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to plant equipment.
Ability to work on‑site at the Terrell Unit Cannery Plant.

Required skills

Technical troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Preventive maintenance planning.
