Maintenance Supervisor – Hollywood, FL

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas of the Hollywood, FL community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose defects and perform repairs in accordance with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready cycle for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, scheduling contractors, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and shared facilities.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or building issues in a residential community.
• Ability to oversee the full make‑ready process and coordinate multiple vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inspections and inventory management.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes and Greystar’s operational procedures.
