Maintenance Supervisor – High Rise Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the high‑rise community at Albion in the Gulch meets Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Working on‑site in Nashville, you will oversee technical and mechanical work across apartments, common areas and exterior grounds, handling both routine upkeep and urgent resident requests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies, completing maintenance tasks and inspecting finished work.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies while staying within budget.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance reports and other documentation as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience performing property maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to supervise vendors, contractors and internal service teams.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes and Greystar’s operational standards.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling.
