Maintenance Supervisor for Centro at Pine Nash

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of Centro at Pine Nash, a 240‑unit mid‑rise community in Wilson, NC, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, on‑site role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of routine upkeep and resident service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose defects in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and perform repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new leases, ensuring all units meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and amenities to maintain appearance and functionality.
• Manage a rotating on‑call schedule and coordinate with external vendors when specialized services are required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with preventative maintenance plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
• Supervisory experience with the ability to lead a small maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and standard maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with occasional on‑call duties.
