Field Work Supervisor

About the role

Elite Construction & Development is expanding its federal and environmental portfolio at the Hanford Site and needs a hands‑on Field Work Supervisor. You will lead craft labor, ensure strict compliance with DOE and Hanford regulations, and maintain a safe, precise work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise craft personnel in executing approved work packages and hazard controls.
• Lead daily tailboards, pre‑job briefs, and safety discussions while maintaining field presence as required.
• Verify that tools, equipment, PPE, and materials meet compliance standards before work begins.
• Enforce radiological, environmental, and industrial safety controls, executing hold points and stop‑work authority when needed.
• Document field activities, complete sign‑offs, redlines, shift logs, and daily reports for audit and regulatory review.

Required profile

• 5+ years supervising craft labor in DOE, Hanford, nuclear, industrial, or similarly regulated settings.
• Ability to read and interpret work packages, engineering drawings, and technical procedures.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Hanford Site access and required medical/radiological qualifications.
• Must be at least 21 years old, pass background and drug screening, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Radiological safety and ALARA practices.
• Hazard analysis and work‑control process knowledge.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical procedures.
• Familiarity with DOE regulations, Conduct of Operations, and environmental compliance.
