Maintenance Supervisor – Community Heights

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This hands‑on role combines technical maintenance work with supervision of vendors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope requirements.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance with a strong technical background.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage vendors, and prioritize multiple work orders.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and preventative maintenance best practices.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory control and budgeting.
