Maintenance Supervisor – Artisan (Lease‑Up)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor – Artisan to lead technical and mechanical work for a lease‑up community of 220 units. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task completion and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by internal service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of maintenance supervision experience, preferably in a lease‑up environment.
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance processes and safety regulations.
• Ability to schedule and oversee vendors, manage inventory and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
