Maintenance Supervisor – 2626 Fountainview

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident service requests and routine maintenance issues in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality, scope and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in company policies.
• Support the Community Manager with additional maintenance‑related duties as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating external vendors.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes and preventative maintenance best practices.
• Effective inventory and budget management skills.
