About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Shop Foreman for its Hagerstown, MD Service Center. The position runs Monday‑Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with paid time off available after the first 90 calendar days.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative and day‑to‑day maintenance and repair on heavy‑duty tractors and forklifts.
- Carry out all repairs and major repairs on trucks and forklifts.
- Handle day‑to‑day administrative duties related to the shop.
Required profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining and repairing tractor/trailers, including air brakes, clutches, diesel engines, lights and electrical systems.
- Mandatory experience with trucks, forklifts and dry‑van trailers.
- Must own personal tools.
- Mechanic or manager experience is a plus.
