Maintenance Planner

About the role

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling preventive maintenance activities for mobile equipment, ensuring optimal use of labor, parts, materials and tools. The role supports the maintenance manager in keeping equipment in peak operating condition.

Key responsibilities

• Program preventive maintenance for all mobile equipment.
• Distribute maintenance schedules to responsible personnel and coordinate with external providers.
• Verify availability of spare parts, labor and tools required for each maintenance task.
• Assist the maintenance manager in planning shutdowns and special maintenance events.
• Maintain up‑to‑date equipment documentation and regulatory records.
• Capture and adjust equipment hour‑meter readings in JD Edwards.
• Create, monitor and close work orders for preventive maintenance.
• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting in the maintenance system.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance planning.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Experience with SAP Maintenance module.
