Maintenance Planner – Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to support 24/7 operation of a chemical manufacturing plant in Greenville, OH. The role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance, repair, and construction activities while ensuring safety and sustainability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑term and long‑range maintenance plans for in‑house and contractor labor.
• Manage the work‑order backlog, order repair parts, and maintain critical spare‑part inventory.
• Perform cost estimating and track key performance indicators for equipment reliability.
• Support the maintenance supervisor as a backup during peak periods.
• Apply Total Productive Maintenance techniques and continuous‑improvement analysis.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in maintenance planning for industrial processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational problems and prioritize expedited repairs.
• Commitment to safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations.
• Familiarity with ASME codes.
• Familiarity with API codes.
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance methodology.
