About the role
Clopay Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Parts Room Associate for its Troy, Ohio manufacturing plant. The role focuses on managing spare parts inventory, resolving discrepancies, and supporting plant operations.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve issues with maintenance spare parts and inventory transaction variances.
- Work with Plant Purchasing, Receiving, Help Desk, and Corporate A/P to match receiving and purchase order records.
- Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Investigate and correct negative transfers and recommend improvements for inventory accuracy.
- Facilitate receiving, inspecting, and verifying parts against original orders.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2‑4 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in materials or receiving.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to rebuild small hand tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in mathematical calculations.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Oracle ERP system.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
