Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility. This role leads the maintenance strategy, covering preventive, predictive, and corrective activities while maintaining strict compliance with GMP, FDA, and OSHA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Schedule and supervise routine maintenance, coordinating with production to minimize disruptions.
• Lead, train, and evaluate a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a safety‑first culture.
• Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery, utility systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records, work orders, and equipment histories.
• Implement safety protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage the maintenance budget, control inventory of spare parts, and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to reduce costs and enhance reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering departments.
