Maintenance Engineer for Inner Harbor Hotel

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer ensures the hotel’s physical plant, equipment, and grounds meet quality and safety standards. You will perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to guest requests to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete minor work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, and repairing plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, lighting, and guest room fixtures.
• Refurbish and paint furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of entrances, parking areas, pool, and exercise facilities.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies, report unsafe conditions, and assist other departments as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational training preferred.
• At least 1 year of general building maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to lift up to 300 lb, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and crawling.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills
