Mainline Trackhoe Operator – Lehi/Orem/Eagle Mountain

About the role

Suncore Construction & Materials is seeking a skilled Mainline Trackhoe Operator to join its field crew in the Lehi‑Orem‑Eagle Mountain area. You will operate heavy equipment to excavate pipeline ditches, install sanitary and storm‑water systems, and help build essential infrastructure for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a mainline trackhoe to dig precise pipeline ditches.
• Install sanitary and storm‑water sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Check slopes for conformance using lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
• Layout pipe routes from blueprints or written instructions and coordinate with supervisors.
• Align and position pipes for sealing, then cover them with earth or other material.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a trackhoe.
• Ability to bend, sit for long periods, work in heat, and lift 50 lb without assistance.
• Commitment to safe operation around team members and utilities.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to follow safety protocols.

Required skills

• Mainline trackhoe operation.
• Use of laser, grade rod, and transit level instruments.
• Blueprint reading and pipe‑layout planning.
