Machine Operator

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team in Oklahoma. You will operate and maintain conventional and special‑purpose machines to fabricate structural parts and assemblies with high precision, contributing directly to product quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machines, including loading, machining, unloading, and de‑burring.
• Read blueprints or work instructions, measure and mark dimensions, and use precision measuring devices to verify work.
• Monitor machine performance, detect malfunctions, make adjustments, and replace or install machined parts as needed.
• Transport materials and finished products, safely rig and move structures using overhead cranes and forklifts, and maintain a tidy work area.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; 1 + year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, ability to read tape measures, calipers, and preferably blueprints.
• Forklift certification and overhead crane experience are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radial drills, fin‑tube machinery, large vertical band saws, presses, brakes and shears.
• Forklift operation and overhead crane handling.
