LPN – Primary Care

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will join the Primary Care team at Palm City Medical Center, providing patient‑first healthcare in a collaborative environment. Working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the LPN supports comprehensive care ranging from preventive services to chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and administer medication.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records.
• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Recognize changes in patient status and report to Charge Nurse or Physicians.
• Educate patients, families, and others about health conditions.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and follow Code Blue protocol.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Experience with technology and computer literacy.
• Preferred: one year of clinical experience.
