LPN Ambulatory – Pediatrics Primary

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide ambulatory pediatric care at Lyndhurst Family Physicians. The role involves supporting physicians and registered nurses in delivering comprehensive care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
• Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, complete nursing assessments, and report findings.
• Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions, perform routine laboratory tests, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Required skills

• Ability to perform full‑body motion, lift patients, and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity with good hand‑eye coordination for clinical tasks.
