LPN Ambulatory – Pediatrics

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Strongsville Family Health and Surgery Center’s Pediatric Ambulatory Operations team. This full‑time position works 8:00 am‑4:30 pm with rotating evenings and weekends, providing direct patient care in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document objective and subjective patient data.
• Complete nursing assessments and report findings.
• Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members about care and procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Preferred: at least one year of patient‑care experience.
