About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient‑first care in the Rocky River Urgent Care pediatric ambulatory setting. Work varies between 8:00 am‑4:30 pm or 11:00 am‑8:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

Provide patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, complete nursing assessments, and implement care plans.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and perform routine laboratory tests.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow‑up care.

Required profile

Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
Current Ohio LPN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
One year of patient‑care experience preferred.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency in patient assessment and documentation.
