Lot Technician

About the role

Doug Smith Chevrolet is looking for a reliable Lot Technician to keep our dealership lot organized, clean, and visually appealing. You will work closely with sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are displayed correctly and ready for customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lot cleanliness by sweeping, removing trash, and keeping the area orderly.
• Move, arrange, and prepare vehicles on the lot according to management or sales directives.
• Assist with vehicle delivery and pick‑up processes to support a smooth customer experience.
• Inspect vehicles regularly and report any visible damage to the service department.
• Collaborate with sales and service staff to manage vehicle flow and lot presentation.
• Follow company safety policies and environmental regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high lot standards.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and walk for extended periods; must be 18 years or older.
