Logistics Warehouse Attendant

About the role

The Logistics Warehouse Attendant works in a fast‑paced, inside shipping environment supporting outbound truck and rail shipments and assisting mill operations. The position offers a competitive total compensation package and opportunities for advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes, heavy‑duty forklifts and tractor‑trailers to move material between warehouses (no CDL required).
• Assist in loading outbound trucks and rail cars and support mill catching production.
• Perform pre‑use equipment inspections and operate handheld scanners.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and clean work areas as instructed.
• Inspect finished product per procedure and cross‑train for higher‑level positions.

Required profile

• Desire to learn and grow with the company.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; entrance exam required if not.
• Ability to work a rotating 12‑hour DuPont 4/3 schedule, including days, nights and two weekends per month.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lb and perform general physical tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in heavy mobile equipment operation.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, heavy‑duty forklifts and tractor‑trailers.
• Basic computer skills and handheld scanner operation.
• General math and problem‑solving abilities.
