Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will lead logistics strategy for large‑scale capital projects, ensuring equipment and materials are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project schedules. This role works closely with engineering, procurement, construction, supply chain, and project management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the logistics subject‑matter expert throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Create freight profiles, transportation plans, and execution strategies for each project.
• Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including ocean freight, heavy‑haul, rail, trucking, and specialized cargo.
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation contractors.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, trade compliance, and shipping documentation.
• Apply Incoterms® principles to procurement contracts and international shipments.
• Monitor logistics performance, transportation schedules, and material deliveries to meet construction milestones.
• Oversee warehousing, lay‑down yards, inventory control, preservation, and material tracking.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing domestic and international logistics for industrial or energy projects.
• Proven ability to develop integrated materials‑management plans and mitigate logistics risks.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, procurement, construction, and supply‑chain teams.
