Logistics Associate – Day Shift (Koch)

About the role

Join the Materials Management team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Logistics Associate on the Koch campus. You will support patient care by ensuring that clinical areas receive the right supplies, on time, and in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Order supplies from vendors and manage procurement systems such as Helios, UPS, Vuetura, and Coupa.
• Prevent stock‑outs by monitoring inventory, offering alternatives, and notifying management of shortages.
• Verify deliveries, unpack, and distribute supplies accurately to patient floors, clinical areas, and pantry stations.
• Monitor expiration dates, replenish linens, oxygen tanks, and other consumables daily.
• Process returns, manage mail distribution, and oversee deliveries using VueturaTrac.
• Supervise truck deliveries, assign loading bays, and provide necessary unloading equipment.
• Inspect received items for accuracy, report discrepancies, and handle specimen or time‑sensitive material transport between locations.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Flexibility to work the day shift (5 am – 1 pm, Monday‑Friday).
• Report directly to the Assistant Manager, Materials Management.
