Loan Processor

About the role

United Bank is seeking detail‑oriented Loan Processors to handle a high volume of loan applications in compliance with bank policies and state/federal regulations. The role supports both internal lending staff and external customers, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process various loan types, focusing on non‑real estate loans, including denials and withdrawals.
• Produce and review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collateral tracking and document imaging systems.
• Act as liaison between lenders, appraisal department, and attorneys.
• Assist lending staff with documentation exceptions and general inquiries.
• Field incoming customer service calls and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Prior loan documentation experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and solve problems.
• Strong customer‑service focus with ethical character.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
