Loan Documentation Specialist

About the role

The Equipment Finance Documentation Specialist manages the end‑to‑end documentation, closing, and funding of equipment finance transactions. You will work closely with clients, relationship managers, portfolio and asset managers, and pricing teams to ensure a seamless client experience and compliance with policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full transaction documentation and closing process for equipment finance deals.
• Coordinate due‑diligence items such as KYC, UCC searches, insurance proof, corporate documents, and assignment paperwork.
• Prepare lease/loan documents, ensure lien perfection, and board transactions into the accounting system.
• Obtain necessary approvals (accounting, tax, pricing, legal) and verify wire instructions.
• Prioritize work queues, balance stakeholder needs, and meet departmental service standards.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in loan documentation and due‑diligence processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical problem‑solving, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of loan structures, collateral, lien perfection, and UCC search interpretation.
• Familiarity with bank accounting/boarding systems.
