Litigation Assistant

About the role

Join Morgan & Morgan as a Litigation Assistant and work directly with a lead attorney and a litigation paralegal. You will support the preparation and management of personal injury and related cases, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule hearings, deadlines, client meetings, and depositions; maintain the attorney’s calendar.
• Organize case files, exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices in paper or electronic systems.
• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes; draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings and contracts.
• Collect, examine, and prepare evidence and other legal documents for attorney review.
• Research regulations, statutes, and legal articles to support case preparation.
• Manage client billing, prepare invoices, and resolve billing issues with the billing attorney.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and other logistical needs for the legal team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, bachelor’s degree, or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum two years of administrative experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas is a plus.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
