Line Cook – High‑Volume Kitchen

About the role

As a Line Cook at Ole Red in Gatlinburg, you will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen that supports live music and entertainment events. You will prepare and cook menu items to exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Execute cooking techniques such as sauté, grill, fry, bake, and roast.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.
• Perform precise knife work – slicing, chopping, mincing, julienning, and dicing.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion‑control guidelines.
• Read and fulfill food orders from tickets or kitchen display systems promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, walk‑in coolers, and food production areas.
• Store food and chemicals correctly, label and date items, and monitor temperatures.
• Assist with dishwashing and ensure all equipment is turned off and the kitchen is secured at closing.
