About the role

Method Co.’s Anthology Events is seeking a Line Cook to join its culinary team in Detroit. The successful candidate will prepare menu items with consistency and precision, supporting a smooth service in a design‑driven event space.

Key responsibilities

• Execute menu items following recipes, plating guides, and brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout service.
• Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and ingredient management.
• Communicate clearly with the culinary team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols.
• Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative kitchen culture.
• Contribute to closing duties, cleaning tasks, and equipment care.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
