Licensing Coordinator

About the role

Aniplex of America is looking for a detail‑oriented Licensing Coordinator to support both content and merchandise licensing teams. The role involves coordinating materials, preparing documentation, and tracking approvals across multiple licensed properties while working closely with licensors, sub‑licensors, and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organize licensing materials, track approvals, and maintain accurate documentation for each licensee.
• Process, track, and review royalty reports, including data entry, invoice tracking, and coordination with accounting.
• Coordinate material delivery schedules between headquarters in Japan, localization partners, and licensees.
• Support submission and approval progress of licensing deals, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Complete and submit product approval forms to headquarters, including documentation prepared in Japanese.
• Maintain licensee data, contractual information, and assets in a royalty management system.
• Monitor quarterly royalty report submissions and address discrepancies.
• Receive, sort, pack, and ship final product samples as instructed.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in licensing, entertainment, or related fields.
• Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for Japanese anime, games, and related culture.
