Licensed Therapist – PCIT & Pulmonology Clinic

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Pediatrics seeks a full‑time Licensed Therapist to provide case management, group therapy, and bio‑psychosocial assessments within a Pulmonology Clinic. The role involves direct patient interaction, interdisciplinary collaboration, and program coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions and develop treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Provide Parent‑Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children with behavioral, developmental, or learning challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive case records, progress notes, and program documentation, including data entry into REDCap.
• Serve as liaison to community resources, collaborating service providers, and treatment centers.
• Participate in weekly program and clinical supervision, and contribute to manuscript preparation and literature reviews.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid State of Florida Mental Health Professional license.
• Demonstrated learning agility and ability to adapt to new procedures and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
