Licensed Practical Nurse (Per Diem)

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Brandywine Living at Upper Providence facility in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This is a per diem position covering three shifts (7a-3pm, 3p-11p and 11p-7a) with a pay range of $34-$35 per hour. The nurse provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of care staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise care staff in line with current state regulations and community policies
• Monitor the health, safety and well-being of all residents
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration
• Maintain clinical quality assurance in line with federal, state and local standards
• Promote high-quality service to residents and lead by example
• Attend all scheduled in-service training
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and community policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or a hospital setting preferred
• Experience working with residents who have Alzheimer's or other related dementias
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
