Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Substance Use Recovery

About the role

Renewal Falls Recovery Center in Cedar Falls, IA is launching a premier substance‑use disorder treatment facility. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will join the founding clinical team and help shape a culture of excellence while delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately according to provider orders.
• Monitor patients throughout detoxification and residential treatment.
• Observe, assess, and report changes in patient condition to the RN or provider.
• Assist with nursing assessments, admissions, and ongoing patient care.
• Provide patient education on medications, wellness, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and crisis situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, RNs, therapists, behavioral health technicians, and case management staff.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, state regulations, and company policies.

Required profile

• Current Iowa LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient‑care abilities.
• Commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary teamwork.
