About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team in Augusta. Working under supervision, you will deliver direct nursing care to patients who are injured, ill, convalescent, or disabled, ensuring safe and compassionate treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general direct nursing care to patients in various health conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform injections safely.
• Deliver medical treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Document care activities and communicate with the healthcare team.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED and successful completion of an LPN program approved by the Georgia Nursing Board, **or** a Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college.
• Current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
