Licensed DBT Psychologist (Telehealth, PSYPACT) - Full-Time

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which manages the business side of the Lyra Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program, is hiring a full-time licensed DBT psychologist to deliver DBT to adolescents and adults via telehealth. The program offers weekly individual therapy, weekly DBT skills training groups and weekly consultation team meetings, with 24/7 access to licensed clinicians trained in DBT skills coaching. The therapist works remotely in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual DBT, multifamily skills groups and parenting and family sessions for adolescents and their parents
• Provide individual DBT and DBT skills groups for adult clients as needed
• Assign DBT-relevant digital lessons, videos and assessments to clients to support learning and monitor outcomes between sessions
• Attend weekly consultation team meetings and one-on-one consultations with a DBT team lead
• Co-lead DBT skills groups with other DBT providers and attend ongoing trainings

Required profile

• PhD/PsyD in clinical, counseling or school psychology from an accredited program
• PSYPACT eligible, with a preference for current PSYPACT authorization
• Formal didactic DBT training (e.g., Behavioral Tech, DBT Foundational or Intensive Training, DBT for Adolescents)
• At least one year of experience providing comprehensive DBT to adolescents and adults
• Comfort working with clients at high risk, including suicidal ideation and self-injury
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends and to obtain cross-licensing in other states if needed

Required skills

• Experience providing telehealth therapy (video and teletherapy) preferred but not required
• Literacy with computer and live video tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe or Skype
