Leisure & Special Segments Channel Manager - NYC

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Leisure & Special Segments Channel Manager to lead the US leisure sales effort, driving revenue and market share across online travel agencies, consolidators, tour operators and special market segments such as marine, humanitarian and student travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in a competitive US market.
• Guide and support the UK South sales team, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives for leisure and special segments.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, recommending pricing and marketing initiatives.
• Identify and appoint new agents, explore new markets, and increase market share at optimal yields.
• Ensure accurate distribution of Emirates fares and tariffs, providing training to trade partners.
• Lead road‑show activities, attend trade shows, and produce supporting literature.

Required profile

• University degree in a business‑related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airline sales and marketing, preferably in the leisure sector, with staff management experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong email communication skills.
• Knowledge of reservations systems and fare distribution.
• Understanding of IATA pro‑rata and accounting procedures.
