Legal Operations Specialist

About the role

CEO Lawyer is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to support and optimize operations across its U.S.-based personal injury law practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, hands‑on personal injury experience, and advanced knowledge of the Filevine platform, combined with a tech‑savvy, automation‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure tasks, records, and case activity are properly documented and traceable in Filevine.
• Administer Filevine, support process improvements, and act as a power user for the legal team.
• Build, document, and optimize legal processes, SOPs, and internal playbooks from intake through pre‑litigation and litigation support.
• Maintain templates, case flows, data‑entry standards, and operational best practices.
• Identify and evaluate AI and automation tools to improve speed, quality, and efficiency of legal workflows.
• Collaborate with legal, operations, QA, and tech stakeholders to implement scalable solutions.
• Train and guide staff on Filevine usage, operational workflows, and new automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Personal injury law experience.
• Proven experience with Filevine.
• Legal background (law degree or equivalent substantial legal operations experience).
• Exposure to AI tools, legal‑tech platforms, automation tools, or systems implementation.
• Strong background in legal operations, case management, or legal process improvement.
