About the role
We are a boutique litigation firm located in northwest Atlanta seeking a Legal Nurse Consultant to provide critical medical analysis and informed opinions that support our attorneys in evaluating case facts and medical records. This role bridges clinical expertise with legal strategy, offering an excellent entry point for registered nurses interested in a legal consulting career.
Key responsibilities
- Review and summarize medical records for litigation matters.
- Identify deviations from accepted standards of care.
- Prepare detailed reports and case summaries for attorneys.
- Assist in determining liability based on medical findings.
- Locate, evaluate, and coordinate expert witnesses.
- Prepare attorneys for depositions and trial testimony.
Required profile
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 10 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) experience is a plus but not mandatory.
