Legal Counsel – US Operations

About the role

Third Bridge is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its US operations. The role focuses on commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and legal innovation, working closely with the Head of Legal in the UK and the global legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review client, vendor contracts and NDAs, delivering rapid, high‑quality turnaround.
• Advise the business on US financial services regulations, securities law, and data‑privacy requirements.
• Translate complex legal requirements into plain language and deliver training to commercial and HR teams.
• Assist in evolving the legal tech stack, implementing AI solutions and contract‑life‑cycle‑management tools.

Required profile

• Law degree from an accredited US law school and active bar admission in Texas or another US state (or ability to obtain Texas admission).
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation with a commercial focus.
• Interest or background in financial services, securities law, and compliance frameworks; familiarity with IP and data‑protection law is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for legal technology, AI, and process automation.
• Strong communication, project‑management, and collaborative skills.
