Legal Advisor

About the role
We are looking for a Legal Advisor with strong experience in litigation, employment law, investigations, and public records requests. The role involves handling confidential matters, coordinating training, working with outside counsel, and providing legal research and project management support across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research, draft briefs, memoranda, and summaries for assigned matters.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including depositions, interrogatories, and document productions.
- Coordinate legal projects, collect data, and assist other departments with special initiatives.
- Interact with business partners, government agencies, and external counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Analyze legal and non‑legal risks and advise management on practical implications.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government legal office.
- Experience handling complex regulatory, public law, or healthcare issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Westlaw for legal research.
- Strong internet research capabilities.
